Over 300 people CPR trained in York
Michele Trevor, Mini First Aid “I’m so proud of what we have achieved today. I lost my Dad to cardiac arrest so I am so passionate about getting more people trained in CPR. It’s so very important, it could make such a big difference.”
Kerry Perks, Perks Marketing said: “We’ve volunteered our time over the last few weeks to organise and promote this event as there isn’t one offered in York as part of the national restart a heart day campaign. We hope to do the same again next year and get even more people trained.”
great review and such a valid point. It’s super important to have this life saving skill at any age, but even more so for the elderly. Let’s hope we get some more people along to be trained next year. A bigger and better event!!
“We were so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend the training session. It was very well presented and most informative covering so many vital points in such a short time.
Donna Parkinson, Senior HR Business Partner, from Portakabin, modular construction expert comments: “With over 600 people on our York site, we were delighted to be able to offer this session, free of charge, to any employee willing to volunteer their time. We are honoured to be able to play our part to support this valuable initiative.”
“The feedback from everyone who attended the training was absolutely fantastic. Thank you to The University of York for giving us the facilities and to the British Heart Foundation for their support. We also raised over £100 for the BHF on the day, such a worthy cause” Nina Copely, Orchestrate Events
